"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
— Hebrews 10:25
What to expect
on your first visit.
We’re so excited to welcome you to Roberta Church!
If it’s your first time here, we want to make sure you feel comfortable and have everything you need to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Here’s what you can expect:
Where Do I Go When I Arrive?
As you walk through the main entrance, you'll be greeted by our friendly team of volunteers. They’ll help direct you to the main sanctuary for worship, and if you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask! If it’s your first time, our team would love to answer any questions and give you a special gift as a thank you for being with us!
What Can I Expect During the Service?
When you enter the sanctuary, you’ll notice a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Our service typically includes:
-
Engaging Worship: Our worship team will lead us in vibrant, spirit-filled songs that create an environment where you can connect with God.
-
Bible-Based Teaching: Each service features a relevant, Bible-centered message that’s designed to be practical and encouraging for your everyday life.
-
Prayer: We believe in the power of prayer, and during the service, there will be opportunities to pray or have someone pray with you.
Whether you're new to church or have been attending for years, we aim to create a space where you can grow in your relationship with God and with others.
Where Do My Kids Go?
We have an amazing kids' program designed to make your child’s experience fun, safe, and meaningful. Our children’s ministry is available for all ages, from infants through elementary school. When you arrive simply head to the main Sanctuary. During worship, we will have a special Children’s Moment, followed by Children’s Church. Our team will guide your children through these engaging activities. For younger children, we offer nursery care.
Parents can rest easy knowing their children are being cared for in a safe and nurturing environment while they enjoy the adult service.
We want you to feel at home, so if you have any questions during your visit, please don't hesitate to ask one of our volunteers—they’ll be happy to assist you. We're so glad you're here, and we look forward to getting to know you better!

Book of Ephesians
Instructor: Matt Copeland
Starts: February 9, 2025 Duration: 10 Weeks
Day/Time: Sunday, 3:30-4:30pm Location: 1st Floor Conference Room
Join Matt for a ten-week exploration of the book of Ephesians, where we will discover God's desire for us to live in greater unity and peace. We will discuss the unity we have with God through Jesus, unity with one another in the Body of Christ, unity within our homes, and how to overcome the enemy of our souls trying to sow seeds of discord and disunity.

Lent in Plain Site
Instructor: Diane Ezzell
Starts: March 5, 2025 Duration: 5 Weeks
Day/Time: Wednesday, 6:00-7:00pm Location: 1st Floor Conference Room
In this devotion for the season of Lent, Jill J. Duffield draws readers attention to ten ordinary objects that Jesus would have encountered on his way to Jerusalem: dust, bread, the cross, coins, shoes, oil, coats, towels, thorns, and stones. In each object, readers will find meaning in the biblical account of Jesus final days. Each week, readers encounter a new object to consider through Scripture, prayer, and reflection.
